Strategic Purchasing – Mechanical engineering (M/F/D)

Your future area of responsibility

• Responsibility for international procurement of individual parts, assemblies, components, and services in mechanical engineering
• Continuous market monitoring and analysis to identify risks and opportunities
• Independent price and terms negotiations with existing and new suppliers
• Support with claims and supplier development with a focus on long-term partnerships
• Identification and selection of potential suppliers as early as the design phase – close coordination with Engineering, Project Management, and Quality Management
• Conducting TCO analyses and supporting make-or-buy decisions
• Ongoing optimization of the internal inventory portfolio and operational order processing (SAP ERP)
• Initiation and support of process and cost optimization initiatives

What you can inspire us with:

• Completed degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or comparable qualification
• Several years of experience in international procurement processes, strategic negotiations, supplier development, and make-or-buy analyses – ideally in international mechanical engineering
• Experience in project management and confident handling of MS Office and SAP ERP
• Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Enjoyment of challenges and willingness to act flexibly in a growing company
• Willingness to travel approx. 40% of the time
• An analytical, communicative, and pragmatic personality with strategic thinking and a solution-oriented approach

• Gross annual salary of €85,000 (full-time) – higher salary depending on qualifications and experience
